Most people who visit Western Sahara are on their way to Mauritania or tropical Africa. So we were, only we travelled from the south to the north.

Along the route of about 900 KM we saw desert and desert and desert and ... the sky

Some times our route was so close to the ocean, that we could have a look at it.

What I can remember most of all is the stripe of asphalt in the barren landscape.
