Okonomiyaki is a mixture between pancake and pizza. "Okonomi" means "as you like". This refers to the ingredients.

Depending on the region of Japan, okonomiyaki is prepared in various different styles. In Hiroshima, which is especially well known for its Okonomiyaki, it is served with or on top of Yakisoba (fried noodles).

    Hmm... Actually I'll have Kansai-style okonomiyaki (not Hirosima-style) at Seoul(not in Japan) tomorrow. Thanks for good tips, especially bar's tips. I'll be there near future because our HQ is there. Zum wohl!

    Starts to come ... oh, memories ... sweet memories. The peacepark (esp. the origami-birds at Sadako' memorial) drew tears in my eyes ... Hiroshima and Arnhem have something in common. Keep going, Sandra!
