The inhabitants of Hamburg are very proud of having a lake such as the one they enjoy in the very heart of the city center. It is to be found just a few short steps from the Opera, the Great Hall of Art, the City Hall, as well as the Harbor and not to forget the Speicherstadt.
The people here are convinced of living in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. And we visitors really do have to discover for ourselves, that this is so. |
I had a fantastic long weekend with my mother here and we discovered all sites of Hamburg. We visited the Binnenalster and Alsterarkaden, the city with townhall and post office, Speicherstadt, Schanzenviertel and last but not least the "Fischmarkt" on a early sunday morning at 7 am... |
