| As seen on "Seinfeld" this is the real soup nazi! |
| | New York City Ok, this is where I live. Sort of. I'm in the suburbs of NYC, but I am here pretty much everyday for work or just for the heck of it. As I find the time, I plan to build a NYC page complete with all the questions I get from my friends when they come to town: Where's all the "Seinfeld" landmarks, where are all the cool clubs that Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha from "Sex and the City" go? Where did Harry Meet Sally? Where are the 'Soprano's' filmed? ok! ok! I'll share my secrets as I find out. |
As Seen on "Seinfeld" Ok, there are several exterior locations that have been used on Seinfeld. Right now, I only have pictures of Al's Soup Kitchen International. If I remember to take my camera before I leave in the morning, hopefully next week I can put up some more pictures of Tom's Diner, the 2nd Avenue Deli etc.... Here's a close up shop of all the "Soup Nazi". | | | Al, the "Soup Nazi" serves up some crab bisque. |

| NYC's answer to Hollywood: Feature Film Studio |
| | As seen on "Sex and the City". Ok. I'm working on this. I've been to Harry Cirpirani, Guastavino and Sushi Samba etc,... however, I wasn't paying attention to anything but my friends, so I have to go there again to make an honest assesment and review of the places before I can make recomendations. As soon as I have this done I'll post them here. In case anyone is interested, "Sex in the City" is being filmed now (June-July 2003) at SILVERCUP STUDIOS. This will be the last season, so if you ever dreamed of being an extra - time is running out! |

| Pros: | "Lot's to see and do. Trendy and Classic at the same time." | | Cons: | "Can't smoke cigarettes anywhere. Suddenly expensive - hard to find bargins anymore. Crazy & greedy Mayor Bloomberg ruining everything." | | In A Nutshell: | "A great place for food lovers and slaves to fashion and shopping. Bad for people looking for bargins and to have a ciggarette and relax." |

jerrysol Tue Oct 23, 2007 21:37 UTC (Circa 1942)While walking from one set of grandparents to the other, we would stop at Katz's Deli on the lower east side. Iwould like to know if the present store was there or a much smaller store in the same location. Thank you. jer7236@aol.com | Rhondaj Mon Nov 17, 2003 17:04 UTC This deli was featured last nite on a PBS show: Everybody likes to Eat a Sandwich. (or something like that!) | genispp Fri Oct 24, 2003 00:12 UTC Beautiful page. I like your photos | bakerloo Fri Sep 19, 2003 01:32 UTC I've been here for a few years and was always vaguely curious about the reality of the "Soup Nazi". I will have to check it out - thanks for the tip. |
