Enough to do when visiting Parga

by peijtertjes - last update: Jun 20, 2003

Parga

Bridge Mainland Greece
From Parga we drove thousands of KM to Igoumenitsa - Preveza - Korinisia - Arta - Ioannina etc.

We also went to Kalambaka/Meteora (see tip), it's a very long way to go there. You'd better stay over the night. The road is good but crinkles all the time..in Holland we are not used to it...it makes you really tired.

Parga town

Parga Town

This pictures is made from the old "castle" where you can easily walk to. (don't forget to take water with you!)

We saw very much Archeological sites but afterwards we thought the most beautifull one is in Parga Town hmm.

Parga has many many tavernas, Giros bars and 2 discotheks.

Round Parga town is enough to do but when renting a car there is more to see. But driving in the mountains is not always easy and when you come on unsurfaced roads of poor quality it is easy when you have good driving capacity.

Oops almost forgotten

The beach in Parga is good, clear water! Perfect to relax.

This pictures is not the beach but very cold water from the mountain. In the area of Parga.

Pros:"Perfect place to stay because it's central"
In A Nutshell:"Most beautifull things are near you!"
