Close enough to Denver yet far enough away to enjoy uncrowded trails, small town niceities, safety on the streets and an opportunity to know your neighbors. Many on my street commute to Denver and many work out of their homes. We live here because of the clean air, open space and QUIET evenings. The weather is real, not boring. A perfect place to relax and entertain.
Lightning storms are beautiful and silent in early Spring evenings. Winds will blow your lawn furniture 3 house down if it's not secured. Get a tan in 10 minutes in July. Weather tests your driving skills here.
Within a 90 minute drive you can be snow skiing, rock climbing, water skiing, fly fishing, golfing in the mountains, riding horses with no one around, backpacking at 10,000ft, attending a: pro baseball, basketball, hockey, soccer match, PGA tournament, drag races, NASCAR event, grand prix, ESPN Extreme ski competition, Air Force Academy football game, Great Western Rodeo to name a few.
