Welcome in Egypt!!

The country that captured my heart in an instance! The picture shows a plate of Shewarma made for me in the take away restaurant next to Felfella in the Giza area! The cook did me a special treat! He wrote with Ketchup:

Or at least I believe so! I challenge the experts on Arabic to correct me! ;-)

It has to do with the hope of Egypt that the soccer world championships would come to Egypt in 2010. By now I know that South Africa got that priviledge. But people in Egypt were hoping to get it so much!! As this plate shows!

It also shows the hospitality of the people of Egypt.

Hospitality is what is most important when traveling around the world. You will not feel comfortable in a place that is hostile.
But I can assure you that Egypt is the place that will make you feel welcomed so much!
Although the society is totally different from what you are used to, the people are so open and hospitable; they will make you feel at home.
