"Winery experience" Abrau-Dyurso by Skripa

The goal of the trip to Abrau-Dyurso was visiting an excursion to winery "Abrau-Dyurso" that produces champagne since 1870 year. This region is the center of Russian champagne production which is distinguished for its high quality and average prices.
This is a little village which is situated on a small lake Abrau, about 14 km far from Novorossiysk. Abrau-Dyurso is the center of Russia's most important wine-growing region.

All i can add that the lake is really very clean and lots of people fishing there even in cold weather, people are very friendly, lots of little stores where you can buy wines and champaign. But i recommend to buy champaign right from the winery (they have their little store). The excursion tells about the history of the winery from the 19th century till present days, also about the days when Germans during World War II tried to conquer those territories and about the perfect territory conditions that gives the grape the unique taste to produce perfect champaign.

In several kilometers from the village Abrau-Dyarso is situated very little village Dyurso which is washed by the Black Sea. This place is full of amazing views.
