We were only in Sydney for four days so we did the usual tourist stuff. Bondi is the best swimming beach (can’t comment on the surfing as I can’t do it), the waves are great and the bods are beautiful.

We stayed in a briliant Hostel in Glebe, a converted Victorian House, the bus stop was right outside the front door so we were in and out of town in minutes.

We hired a campervan to drive down to Melbourne. We took the scenic coast route via the blue mountains which was a lot more driving than we had expected. It was a great experience though. The lovely thing about camping in Australia is that the campsites are right on the beach so you get better view than you ever would in any posh hotels.
