<B>I have been to Thule Air Base for a grand total of 3 times. Thule is located on the north west coast of Greenland. It is owned by Denmark and the American's jointly operate a base there under Space Command. Everyone has always been very friendly there. I fly in with my work when required. August is a nice month, temperature wise, because and I am speaking relatively here ok. April can be a winter wonderland with some winds that would blow you away. Literaly. Some times the blizzards are so bad that travel outdoors is forbidden and the storms can last over 2 days. You can go to work and come back to your room days later. Thankfully I have never had to do that.</B><body background="http://www.imperium.de/animationen/backgrounds2/Back06.jpg"> |
