<B>I am always passing through this state sooner or later to get to or to leave from Nova Scotia. The changing of colours all the trees in the fall is spectacular. It's mainly picturesque. I really enjoyed following the #1 Highway along the coast and the town of Camden was very nice.
Stephen King grew up in near or in Bangor. After I saw the movie Pet Cemetary it reminded me of route 9 which runs from Bangor to Calais. For some reason it is called the Airline route and for many years it was a wild and dangerous ride. A major highway with only 2 lanes and many hills and turns. I could see how many pets could die on this road. Watch the movie before you take this road.
