Although hockey is the national game of the country, but Pakistan is cricket crazy country. In major urban centres like Karachi and Lahore where full-sized cricket fields are a rare luxury, it is not uncommon to see cricket being played in narrow lanes and streets of the city. Pakistan had won world cup of cricket in 1992 and runners up in many occasions.
