The White Palace hotel is infact the Palace of former ruler (wali) of Swat, but now it is converted to a hotel. This magnificent palace surrounded by mountains of Murghzar valley is made of white marbles and a beautiful stream flows nearby. There are some handicrafts shops nearby and you can buy local specialiteis (remember to bargain). Just outside the hotel there is a village up in the mountain and you can go for trekking (but take local guide with you)
