It was my first ever visit to any foreign country (in September 2002), and I'll remember it for ever. This little country offers every thing to the tourists - the well preserved historical sites, beautiful alpine mountains, traditional rural life, sprinkling lakes and the smiling people.
My second visit was in September 2004 and this time I spend most of my time in Thun and Schwarzsee in Bernese Oberland.
I again visited during October 2009 and this time I stayed in Zurich for about a month while visiting some other places like Interlaken and Luzern etc.

Rural Life

Rural life of Switzerland is very colourful and exciting (for tourists!). Cows, cheese, foudue, landscape, ..........and what else ........ friendly people, culture ...... Everything is amazing.

Trekking in the Alps

Swiss Alps -- Elm village

Switzerland is a heaven for trekkers. You go any corner, and you`ll find directional signs and maps etc.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Beautiful, historic, natural....and chocolates
Cons:Expensive
