Capital of Tuscany

Florence is a very beautiful city full of arts, architechture and lovely views.
The best views of the skyline you can get from the top of the hill (like this sunset view).
Florence is the capital of the Tuscany, for me the most beautiful part of Italy. It's streets are dirts and busy, but it's worth visiting this town and admires all it's beauties.

The cathedral is the main building in Florence and every tourist visits it. It's really worth going there - believe me. Don't be afraid of the crowd - just stand in front of this huge church and you'll be impressed of the millions of paintings and ornaments that decorate the front. Unfortunately I haven't had the chance to have a look at the inside, because it was too crowded!!! I would have had to wait over 2 hours to get in!!! But it really is enough to admire all the beauty outside...

If you stay in Florence be sure to rent a car (or take a bus) and have a look at the surroundings. The landscape of the Tuscany is breath-taking!

Pisa

Pisa - Leaning Tower

Pisa is a little town near Florence. You can easily reach it by bus or train. There's not much to see, except the place with the Leaning Tower and the Baptistery, but you cannot miss that! I really loved it! It's fascinating that this tower doesn't fall down and that this wonderful Baptistery-building was built for the batism of just one kid!!
