One of my favourite fastfood place is Chicken Treat. Now, I say this with trepidation since the quality of Chicken Treat food differs widely depending on the store you go to. But, they serve chips (steak chips, fries) with a generous serving of chicken salt. Which, if haven't already guessed, is salt that has essence of chicken in it.
I met someone in Reston, VA, USA once who commented on chicken salt, on how weird it was, but how great it tasted on a hot, just out of the fryer, bowl of chips. YUM.
Try it, you won't regret it.
