We were here for the Portland Marathon to run in the 5 mile event and watch the finish of the big race, all aprt of a two week trip. We flew from Ontrio airport in California (Oh that all destinations were possible from there!). People were friendly. Loved the city although we stayed in a rather shady part near the convention center. We returned for a day at the end of our trip and took a boat ride with lunch. Recommend it, as well as getting out and walking around the downtown. |
