We were in Death Valley for a trail race put on by envirosports. There is a marathon and a 30 K race. We were doing the shorter race. It was mostly downhill through Death Valley so how hard could it be? Imagine running for over three hours on uneven, hard packed dirt and loose gravel. However we were treated to a look at Death Valley that most people will never experience. |
| | Lodging Furnace Creek Inn - amazing hotel, historical, fantastic pool fed by warm underground springs, beautiful rooms. Very Pricey but worth the $$$ if you can afford it. Restaurant is excellent but also Very Pricey. |
