Though I lived in nearby Maryborough for my first 17 years, before shifting permanently to Brisbane, I had never seen the whales at Hervey Bay. But then back in the 60,s,nobody else had either.
On a Dec2003 trip to India I took a boat trip down the Mondavi River to see the dolphins.Nice day, but perhaps I should see the whales at home. |

Whales are amazing creatures aren't they? I had the pleasure of seeing them on the other side of Australia in Exmouth. Did you also go out to Fraser Island? |
