Restaurant Name: Sala Rim Naam
A trip to Bangkok is incomplete without a dinner/dance show. Some are good, others ropey.
The Sala stands out head and shoulders above anything else. The food is conventional Thai, but exceptionally well done. The dancing was stunning. The ambience was pure Mandarin Orientall, from the little ferry that bobbed across the chao praya to the washroom. My guest for the night, an American lady with an allergy to garlic had no problems with the food ( the hotel was advised when booking and her food was suitably prepared.)
For those of us who would like a taste of the world of the Oriental, but on atravellers budget, this is our chance. As much of a must do as the Grand Palace.
PS
I still have my souvenir menu and explanation of the dances from Jan 02
