Killorglin

Cousins Linda and Roni's family came from Killorglin, County Kerry.
They were the Moriartys and many shop signs reveal that the Moriartys are still here. Linda looked into the records at the town hall and we looked up Moriarty in the phone book whilst in Shelagh O'Neill's Pub. Shelagh O'Neill's is the 4th building down the street in this pic. It is painted Red.

Description:
Annual fair and merrymaking associated with Puck, a large white male goat with ribbons tied to his horns. The Puck is elevated to a high pedestal on "Gathering Day" and presides over the merrymaking for the 3 day festival until "Scattering Day", when it's lowered from it's perch. Aug 10 - 12.
