Ceremony of Nowrooz in Shiraz city

during the Nowrooz ceremony we went to Shiraz. The Nowrooz ceremony is the beginning of the spring and the new year. all the people do not work these days. there is about 15 days holiday.
Shiraz is located in the south of iran's plain in the south road of Isfahan or Esfahan to the Persiasn Gulf. it's about 500 Kilometer far from isfahan and it's about 5 hours driving. there are many attractive subject in Shiraz to visit such as the temples of the famus poets Sa'adi and Hafez and "Karim Khan Citadel" , the " Karim khan-e Zand Mosque and at least the most famus historical and cultural Persian sight " Takht-e Jamshid " or " Parseh" in the north of Shiraz.
i certainly believe that the Alexander attack and his story is one of the biggest lie in the history.

I was far from city rage there on ALBORZ mountain

i was in the village where anything was with out any movement, meanwhile i was looking for MADKIWIBEAST, one of VT members whome entered to iran from Turkey border with her bike . i searched more, but i find nothing. she is in iran now, but i lost her. i hope to see her safe and satisfy from cycling in iran.
i want to tell you about the village where i was in it.
It was really like a dream. To be far from city and it’s problems. I was 3 days between the people who are very hospitable and nice. This village located among the alborz mountain near SHAHRUD, the city where had definitely four different climates. This village called “ VAMANAN “ . the people are so simple. They have very basic life.they work in their field. I try to write more about my last journies further.

The Tragedy OF Bam

To the north east of the <Bam.htm> city, in the skirts of a gigantic rock is the foundations of a fortified castle, reputedly known as the Bam Citadel. This citadel was actually the old city of Bam. The city comprised of four sections and 38 watch towers. In the southern side of this structure there were four ramparts and to the north-eastern section there was also another colossal rampart. The citadel has been constructed of sun baked bricks, argyle and straw, but in some parts stone, brick and the barks of date palms have been utilized. The said citadel comprises of the entrance gate-way, a public sector, a military base and the central section or seat of power.

But what happend for it today?
How we can explain the dimensions of this tragedy?
i coudn't say anything, my heart was broken when i heard it.
up to 40,000 of people died...could you believe? no , no , it is unbelievable.no it is unimginable.
This is bigest tragedy in the history of iran.could you imagin just for one minute that how it possible ? no it is indurable.

News reports eventually trickled out that everyone who lived or worked in the vicinity of the Old City including curators and guides to the citadel had been buried under the rubble.
It is tough to picture the charming little town now obliterated, nearly half of its inhabitants wiped out. The death of 10 people as a result of natural disaster is a great calamity. What do you call the loss of tens of thousands?
While the human catastrophe can never be remedied, renowned archaeologists and curators have vowed to help restore the crumbled citadel to its former glory. And just as Bam's citadel inspired travelers from all corners of the world, the global outpouring of aid and support for Bam's earthquake victims is a testament to the interconnectedness of human beings.

To see the depthe of the catastrophe please see my
"TRAGEDY OF BAM " Album.
