Packing Lists: Think of hiking boots as your best friend!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I've seen people dressed up and walking up the hill to Neuschwanstein castle. I wouldn't recommend that. There are a lot of stairs to climbed in both castles and not to mention cca 1,5km uphill that you have to walk to Neuschwanstein and about the same distance from one to the other castle. It doesn't seem much, but when you start the walk you know what I'm talking about. My suggestion is to wear hiking boots or running shoes and something comfortable like gym pants or hiking pants. You won't regret it!
Photo Equipment: Don't forget your camera and don't forget: TAKING PICS INSIDE IS FORBIDDEN --- VERBOTEN ---- ZABRANJENO!!!!!!!!

I was once in Neuschwanstein Castle and enjoyed it a lot. We were lucky to find it without any crowd (off season, week day). I like very much your page and the tune of your tips. |
