Getting TO/AROUND: You have three ways of doing this tour: on foot, by shuttle bus or horse carriage. The day we were there the bus wasn't working and everybody was queing for horse carriage. I must addmitt that I was carried with romantic idea of "horse carriage" but we were to "lazy" to stand in line so we decided to walk. Later, when we saw those poor animals frothing with sweat and really struggling to pull up the mountain only to turn around to come down for the next group of tourists and up again it broke our hearts and we were proud of ourselves to be doing it the proper way "ON FOOT". So please, do not participate in animal abuse! When you go visit the castles, do it eather on foot (not very easy, but you'll live!) or by shuttle bus.

We were surprised to see this ways of treating the animals, because Germans are big animal lovers.
