Street Vendors: Souvenires from the street

Street vendors are situated at the end of Knez Mihajlova Street. Mostly they sell handmade souvenires with Belgrade and Serbian motives. You might find yourself overwhelmed with the offer and it is not very likely that you will find the same item on two stands.

What to buy: The offer is huge. You can buy anything from handmade items in glass (rings, earrings, small figures etc.), cast fridge magnets, handmade mugs, ceramic ashtrays, wooden trays, pictures, mosaics, bells etc.

What to pay: What you are going to pay depends on the item. I'll just tell you that what you pay is not going to be even close to souvenires in other European touristic spots and these are going to be mostly handmade and therefore unique

"Beogradski izlog": Need souvenirs for your friends and family?

This is a shop where you can find different stuff. It is a typical european gift shop, and it's very nice. Plus, it's in the center (of the city, of course).

What to buy:

Mugs with Bealgrade themes are always nice and interesting and you can find dozens with different prints, all describing Belgrade in it's best and most accurate way. You want a T-shirt? You can find it in here. Anything else? You are at THE place

What to pay:

Whatever the price is, you'll have to pay it because you can't find those items anywhere else in Belgrade. I strongly recomand mugs made by Marija Stanojlovic, master of applied arts.

"Lush": House of Soap

Most of you know about "Lush" products. Soaps, bathing foams, shower gels... And what they are probably the best known is that they DO NOT TEST THEIR PRODUCTS ON ANIMALS!

I love going in this shop but the problem is I always have problems deciding what scent to buy :)

What to buy: What ever you go for is not going to be a mistake. Still, my favorite are bubble baths :))

What to pay: Ok, this depends on what you are going to purchase and in what amount. It starts from cca 3-4EUR and up

This is a big shopping mall. Our ex countrymen from Slovenia opened it at the begining of december 2002. You have a hyper market there, many shops, caffes, a place where you can leave your kids without any concern....
