Hello everyone & thanks for stopping by.

As some of you might notice, I've moved my homepage to this travel page. It is more apropriate and more useful. First of all, this is the map of Serbia. My country. My beautiful country. Hopefuly, many of you will find Belgrade and SERBIA interesting and visit it some times. Those of you who already have been here, know what I'm talking about

Beograd

Belgrade by night

Beograd (Belgrade) is an old town founded by Celts. It was built in white stone and named "The White Town". In Serbian, it name still means the same. Beograd stands on two rivers Sava and Dunav (Danube), and has one artificial lake . Population, around 2 mil.

The St. Sava Temple

This is inside the biggest Orthodox Temple in Europe and one of the biggest in the World. Have in mind that it's still under construction. You can find more in my "Belgrade Tipps"

Pros and Cons

Pros:Not like any other capital in the world. He has a soul!
Cons:The traffic can be terrible, like in any other big city
In a nutshell:THE MOST BEAUTIFULL CITY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD

TAXI drivers can rip off you sometime, and they are doing the same thing with us, who live in Belgrade. That's why Serbian goverment have started organisation called "National TAXI". You can find them at the airport, and on car it writes "Nacionalni TAXI"

Zemun is a part of Belgrade? I was born in Zemun and I don't think so:-) Zemun is a town with its own history longer than 2.000 years.

Gr8 Beograd pages. I passed through Yugoslavia on a 3 day bus journey Athens-London in the `70`s. It`s sad that female VTers have to get wierd emails, some of female VT friends same prob! Greetings from Budapest.Tim
