At the time I went to Luxor I was very sick with feaver. A friend of mine who accompanied me at this trip, thought I will stay in Hurghada in the hotel. But that's where she was very wrong! There wasn't a chance for me to stay in Hurghada and miss what I wanted to see the most. It was Hell, but if I had to be that ill to return to Luxor, I would take it!
It was 50 degrees C that day. We all felt like in owen, but happy. You will see why, if you haven't already been there.

Safaga

Our first stop on the way from Hurghada to Luxor was at the caravan station in Safaga. That is the first time I saw camils in Egypt.
Lovely, isn't it?

Pros and Cons

Pros:So many historical monumets that have to be seen
Cons:Very hot in the summer
In a nutshell:An owen with the most delicious "cookies" to offer

Sorry you were sick during your trip. Valley of Kings had tombs, and you can see 4 for free i think. They were crowded though inside and you couldnt take photos.....after awhile all of the tombs looked same anyway!
