First Impressions!

It's Not called the Big Apple for nothing!. New York City is Big!
I spent a week there in April 2003 and here on this site I will tell you what I thought of it, Highs & Lows!

The observations on this page are purely based on my experiences, and are in no way meant to offend or belittle anybody.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A vibrant City that really doesn't sleep!
Cons:Not as laid back as other places in the states,everybody seems a little on the serious side!
In a nutshell:A must see once in a lifetime destination.

We enjoyed your take on NYC. We think that walking accross the Brooklyn Bridge is the best budget thing to do period. Safe travels from Canada!

REally Enjoyed your pages. NY ids on my must see "soon" list. Always wanted to go to Ellis Island after reading a book about it. I agreed with you about cheap hotels. Would rather spend my money on the travelling.

I liked the fact that you actually stopped to talk to people. That, I think, is what is missing in a lot of the touring we do.
