Durgapur

I was born in Calcutta but brought up in Durgapur. Its a steamy little steel township which is an oddity in the coal belt with its magnificent greenery and great amenities.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:greenery, civic amenities, easy traffic , My hometown :-)
  • Cons:Weather especially the summer, only couple of good hotels
  • In a nutshell:A great place to stay
  • Last visit to Durgapur: Jan 2003
