Horta de Sant Joan

In the county of "Terra Alta" (highlands, in catalan), there's a little village having a very specyal beauty: Horta de Sant Joan or Horta d'Ebre. The landscape, with the mountains of "Besseit" in the back, is really amazing.

Prades

Prades is a little village of 500 inhabitants in a quite inexplored zone of Catalonia, between the Priorat and the Conca de Barberà. It has a very peculiar feature. All the buildings are builded in red stone, a very plentiful kind of stone in this area. The walls are very beautiful, and it has a very charmer squarre with a known fountein in.

More about les Fonts del Segre

The landscape is great, in the middle of Pirineus, and you walk almost always close to the Segre, becoming an experience as you were accompanied for this lovely river. In the most warm days, you can also take a bath. In Llo there are also warm watter where you can take a healthy bath.
Is not easy find information about this lovely place, but you'll find not too much, but people.

Les fonts del Segre

In the french Catalonia, close to the border within Spain and France, there are "les fonts del Segre", this is, the fountains of the Segre. There the Segre is borned. In August you can't approach with the car too much, and you must to walk four hours from "Llo". In the other months, you can go with the car til a point from you will spend at least one hour and half. In the picture, we are out of the easy way, to enjoy more the walk, closer to the river.

Delta de l'Ebre

The Delta de l'Ebre is where the Ebre river finish in sea. There, the ground is completely flat, and the water goes around and become the lord of the land. This is a not to much known zone, and maybe is better that keep like this. But i think that the VT's have right to know the land where the clouds swim in the water.
