The more specyal piece

If Europe was a museum (for a traveler, in some way it is), basque country could be the more specyal piece of him. The basque language, are the only language in the world who have not known family. The customs and traditions come to a lot of years ago. The basque nature is strong and proud, and they have a specyal facility to live in harmony with the nature.

TXORI TXORIA (bird)

Hegoak ebaki banizkio / if i cut their wing
nerea izango zen, / he colud be mine

Bainan, honela / but in this way
ez zen gehiago txoria izango / he couldn't be a bird

txoria nuen maite / loved the bird

After Catalonia Basque Country is my favourite part in Spain. Good info and lovely pictures here. Happy birthday from Finland!

3+4=1 Yes I know that. I read about it from some (not so)old books and I was wondering if it still means alot to the "people of Basque". Thanks Pere! Well, there are no borders between Espana and France now, so it's a good way towards the solution... ;o)
