I live in ruislip mnaor, which is very close to ruislip high street itself.

It is mainly full of expensve residences, with a high street containing many small shops, and many pubs and restaurants.

There are tube stations on the metropolitan and piccadilly lines which can get you to, say, tottenham court rad, in central london in about 45 minutes (on a good day!)

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:green and leafy, fairly safe, value pubs, fat food, 50m train to central london
