"Welsh Patagonia" Gaimán by leok

A day trip out of Puerto Madryn - Gaimon is a small town where residents have sought to preserve the Welsh language.

Our tour consisted of driving us round a very normal looking suberb and describing the rocks (no joke) before a mutiny forced the tour guide to cut short this section of the trip and take us directly to the tea house - probably the only real reason to visit (unless you are Welsh).

Tea House

A selection of sandwiches, cakes (including one with jelly/o on top!) and several pots of tea were all served. All perfectly nice but no better than the tea room in Puerto Madryn.
