Xi'an, a center for history, culture, and tourism Xi'an is a great place to visit, and there are many things for a tourist to do here. It is the ancient captial of China, so there many old historic sites. In the summer of 1994 we lived at the Foreign Language Institute on the south side of the city. On weekends we took excursions to the sites around Xi'an or walked around in the central city. |
