Falun

Falun, with 55 000 inhabitants is located about 230 km's northwest of Stockholm and is known for the world heritage coppermine that is about 1000 years old.
Also included in the world heritage is the 3 parts of town which consist of old wooden houses that people still live in. It's an experience just to walk around the streets and see how people lived 2-300 years ago. And still do!
In Sweden Falun is known for it's wintersports and Lugnet is a big sport/recreation area. There you can do just about anything that has to do with sports.

Fin sida! Har inte sett så mycket av Falun, fast jag faktiskt har bott där en kort period, men gruvan är verkligen värd ett besök!
