Oh yeah, since this was a very organized trip, we hadn't booked a hotel room, so we just had to worry about it when we got there. But luckily for us, the cab driver knew exactly which hotel to take us to. Hmmm, I wonder. Oh well, what could we do with no research done and absolutely no knowledge about the place. So we booked a single room with two beds at the Festival Plaza Hotel for $90/night. Y. and I were to share one bed while Z.Z. got the other.
Unique Qualities: Kinda has a cirque du soleil theme to it. Quite festive. Hence the name, Festival Plaza Hotel.

Here's a full frontal of the hotel. Not sure what population they're trying to attract; Disneyland going type families or college aged party goers. You decide. Nevertheless, the hotel is nicely situated on the main boulevard and is centrally located to all the happening spots in town.

I must say though, even with all my complaining, sarcasm, and joking around, I did like the room we got, especially for the views it offered. We stayed on the fifth floor and were able to see a lot; the Pacific Ocean and surrounding areas.

Thanks for sharing. =) (The pictures are great too!) I think I'll check out the Festival Plaza hotel and theme park. =) | RickinDutch Sat Sep 9, 2006 00:30 UTC Came back to read on about my old stomping ground. Is the old pink hotel right on the water still there? It was called Rosarito Beach Hotel and the only hotel in town. Adjoining rooms for $20 a night. |
