Try finding parking at the Gaslamp on a Friday or Saturday night (well, any night or day for that matter) and you're totally screwed. My girlfriends and I had made reservations for 8:30pm at Ole Madrid restaurant and wasn't actually seated until 9:15pm because it took us forever to find parking. Jen kept on circling and circling the area in search of an available spot, but then finally decided on the garage at Horton Plaza (entrance on 4th Ave.). Parking is free for the first three hours with validation at any of the shops in the mall. It normally costs $6.00 an hour to park, which can add up to a hefty sum. So here's a valuable tip for you, go to the drug store/souvenir shop on the third floor and buy a pack of gum for $1.00 and get your ticket validated there.

i got hipnotized by the spiral picture (picture #3) of the cabrillo old lighthouse. cant figure it out if it's a stairway. ang galing ng kuha. also the tainted love band date looks fun. btw, thanks fatimah for dropping by our HP. |
