We live in Prestatyn, a medium sized town on the North Wales coast. Not to be confused with it's more undesirable neighbour Rhyl, Prestatyn is quiet and has a long stretch of beach, largely uncontaminated by the amusement arcades and hot dog stalls etc which tend to rear their ugly heads at at British seaside resorts. The town is fairly quiet, with mostly individual shops rather than large stores, centred around one main high street. There is easy access to the countryside and scenery of North Wales, and it is only half an hour from Chester, should decent shops be required.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:Quiet, beaches, countryside.
- Cons:Proximity to Rhyl, lack of shopping in immediate area, Pontins and caravan parks.
