Typical of Cape Cod, the "arm and elbow" of Massachusetts. Lighthouses are preserved there as historic sites and one can visit for a fee. The scenery around most of the lighthouses, like this one, is beautiful with a wide open view of the Atlantic. |
| | Sand Dunes Although mostly protected by fences from both human intruders and high winds, some of the dunes are open so you can walk on the bluff, even leap off the edge into the deep, soft sand. |
| Roses on a fence in Hyannis |
| | Typical little Cape Cod town This one is fairly familiar, at least in name, to many: Hyannis. It is peppered with little shops and wonderful restaurants like so many of them are and in June the roses are in full bloom and lend such charm to the scenery. |

Pawtuxet Fri Mar 30, 2007 15:56 UTC Dunes, lobsters, small shops, and lots of sun.....old Cape Cod. Great spot. Lots of wonderful towns along the way...love the old road along northern Cape. It's a Nat'l Hist.
