  • Miscellaneous: Malaysia uses the 3-pin rectangular blade plug with power specification of 240V and 50Hz.... You should have a suitable converter both the electrical outlet and a transformer for the required voltage... A 13amp plug would suffice for normal electrical equiment such as camera battery charger, DVD player, computer equipment etc... For more sensitive equipment, you may want to consider a surge suppressor but this is not generally required as the power supply is quite stable...
