The Sri Maha Sakthi Mohambigai Amman temple unique is its location. The 100-year-old place of worship is in the midst of the busy Mid Valley Mega Mall. The temple is guarded by two imposing figures that stand at the temple's entrance. The two giant statues, known as bhootangals, are guardians of the temple. Apart from the statues, there is a Bodhi tree with a statue of a meditating Buddha under it. These are accompanied by sculptures of Hindu and Chinese gods, along with some spiritual masters. The temple's distinctive architecture incorporates figurines of religious gurus like Shiridi Baba, Guru Nanak, Valmiki and Buddha all around the walls. The temple had undergone the Maha Kumbhabishegam (consecration) ceremony in 2002 and is popular with locals and foreign tourists. It is dedicated to goddess Mohambigai, a combination of Hindu goddess Parvathy, Saraswathy and Laxmi, representing power, knowledge and fortune respectively.
