tune hotel...
The hotel is marketed as a no-frill hotel...
Room rates are from RM9.99 to 59.99, a pricing based on demand, similar to that of the no-frills AirAsia. The price, however, is only for the room. There is a no-charge ceiling fan but air-conditioning, toiletries, towels and breakfast are charged separately.
Air-conditioning: RM4.99++ for five hours and RM9.99++ for 12 hours. Guests are given an air-conditioner remote control with a pre-paid magnetic card. Toiletries: Mini kit (RM1.99) and deluxe (RM4.99). Towels: From RM9.99 to RM19.99 depending on size.
Breakfast: Set menus from RM2.70++ for toast with butter and kaya and a cup of hot coffee to RM6.90 of a cup of iced white coffee and Uncle John nasi lemak.
Unique Qualities: The room seemed almost bare. There was a bed, of course, an overhead rack and bedside lamps with stencil motif of contrasting colour and luxurious long drapes. The toilet had been given a classic black-and-white touch with a square designer hand-basin, folded glass doors and bathroom steel accessories – shower, taps, tissue and soap holders and towel hanger. Covered with unusual matte black tiles, the floor looked chic.

a kiblat direction sign on the ceiling...
In all hotel rooms in Malaysia, it is a requirement to have a directional sign for the kiblat (or qibla)... Qibla is an Arabic word for the direction that should be faced when a Muslim prays... The qibla is oriented towards the Kaaba in Mecca and while praying, Muslims will face the direction of Mecca...
The qibla directional sign in hotel rooms is for the convenience of Muslim guests who will then have no problems in performing their daily prayers... The qibla directional sign is normally located on the ceiling or in one of the drawers of the hotel room...
