Bienvenido al Mundo Maya

Hi, I live in San Salvador, El Salvador in Central America. I'm a physician and I love to travel. I'm interested in Maya Civilization. So, most of my travels covers the Mundo Maya (Maya World: Guatemala, Western Honduras and El Salvador, Belize and the mexican states of Yucatan, Campeche, Quintana Roo,Tabasco and Chiapas).
Mundo Maya is famous for its archaeological ruins, deep in the jungle.
But Maya World is more than that. In Maya World you can enjoy rafting, hiking through the jungle, through ruins and archaeological sites, mountain biking. You can take the sun in white sand beaches and turquoise waters or make scuba diving in the Mexican Caribbean, climb smoking volcanoes like Volcan Pacaya, swim in beautiful lakes like Lago Atitlan, explore wildlife sanctuaries in Belize. You can visit peaceful spanish colonial cities like Antigua Guatemala or Campeche, meet the descendants of the maya in Guatemala Highlands and know their mix of religions and traditions.
In Maya World you have outdoors sports, nightlife, culture, and relaxation, all in one geographical region.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
