Prague was destination No.1 on our 10 day whistle-stop tour of a small part of eastern Europe. Our next destination was Bratislava and then on to Budapest.
We spent a total of 3 whole days here and found this to be about the right amount of time. Three days gave us time to see many of the large amount of tourist attractions including the amazing architecture of Prague’s buildings, the castle and even the zoo. |
| | The City Prague has to be visited. The city is great for almost any kind of holiday from sight-seeing to cheap student drinking holidays.
The city is quite large but the public transport is great (especially compared to British public transport). There is a large metro network (the easiest to use) which is supported by trams and busses (mostly trams in the city centre). See my transport and getting around tips for more information. |
| | The Tips I have put in a large amount of tips for Prague on this page (also check out my Bratislava and Budapest tips). If there’s anything I haven’t covered please ask!
Currently I have tips on transport, things to do, warnings, food and much, much more. Check out the list at the bottom of the page. |
