This iconic picture of Grand Central Terminal is quite something - is it not ?

I last visited NYC just a year after the horrific event of 9/11 and was honoured to take part in the 2002 New York Marathon, which in many ways was a kind of tribute to the thousands who lost their lives on that dreadful day.

Many runners ran with an image of a loved one on their running vests, and the name of a charity that the person was connected with.

 A very nice look at NYC thru the eyes of a marathon runner. I have only seen it from inside a bus.
