I will have to get back and read more about your Route 66 adventures. I grew up in the town right next to Cicero, a town called Berwyn. If you got back on the Interstate in Cicero you missed it because the REAL Route 66 still goes down Ogden Avenue (named after a Chicago Mayor) before eventually connecting up with the Interstate Highway.
i have stumbled back into route 66
More interesting stuff! I enjoy your unique style.
with all the signs posted at the entrance into town, and in your day-dreaming state, it's a wonder you found the Interstate! Intriguing town name... and ex-Mayor!
Your use of narrative is priceless.
