Horncastle is at the centre of the wolds area of Lincolnshire.

The area is littered with many old draughty houses and quite an elderly population. It is not surprising therefore that there is a steady flow of 'new blood' to feed the 30 or so antique shops that are scattered around the town. Dealers and collectors from all over world come here to pick over what turns up.
