If you are looking for a bigger department store, Bijenkorf is a good bet. Bijenkorf is a chain department store throughout the Netherlands. While they can be a pricey, you will probably find what you are looking for here.

Etos is where you can buy bandaids, shampoo, etc. You can only get your prescriptions fulfilled in some Etos stores, so you may want to look for an Apotheek instead.
