Something that continues to surprise me about living in Amsterdam, is how quickly I can also leave Amsterdam and be in a place with a completely different atmosphere and feeling to it.
Wijk aan Zee is about a 20 minute drive away from Amsterdam. We went in late September and were met with long beautiful beaches that were quiet and peaceful. |
Beachcombing We just walked and walked and walked... picked up shells, enjoyed the wind and peacefulness. |
And then it was time for a picnic lunch. Friends, the ocean, a sweet breeze. You can't ask for much more. |

Leuk! Er is niet veel te vinden over Wijk aan Zee op VT, maar hier vond ik tenminste nog wat foto's. |
