I went to visit my family in Ontario this fall, and although I remembered the Autumn colors as spectacular, I still found myself surprised and thrilled.
There is nothing like cottage country in the Autumn. It is no longer filled with the busy-ness of cottage season, but the beauty is even more spectacular.
We spent three days at a cottage on a quiet lake and it was so hard to leave. Incredibly peaceful.
This was the view of the Lake from the cottage. Just minutes away.
Pros and Cons
- Pros:quiet, restful, no bugs (!)
- Cons:can't really swim anymore
- In a nutshell:the best time to enjoy the Canadian cottage area
